About Barkeater Lake
“Barkeater Lake is a comic paradise on earth, even though I’m told it doesn’t really exist. Buy the books and read them if you don’t believe me, and after you’ve read them and laughed your socks off, try this; read them from back to front and try to retrace Corey Pandolph’s steps. Then you may discover the actual location of Barkeater Lake, up there in the Adirondacks somewhere. And if you find it, please let me know. I’ll buy you a beer at Chuck’s if you do.”
-Richard Thompson, Cul De Sac
“The superbly illustrated Barkeater Lake is a funny, intelligent and engaging comic strip. Corey Pandolph has a definite talent for breathing a universal familiarity into his characters and locales, making them instantly endearing. Barkeater Lake is sure to remind anyone of the warm (and insane) folks that populate their own little corner of the world.”
-Norm Feuti, Retail and Gill
