The Holy Church of Bacon

Well, this is just silly… The Holy Church of Bacon

Drink at Work Show tonight.

Wednesday, December 3rd, 2008

Find yourself in the quaint hamlet of Manhattan, NY, with nothing to do this evening? It can be tough, this time of year… The early restaurant closings, last call coming around 7pm and the mass exodus of family and friends to a warmer climate. The concrete jungle can get awful lonely in December.

But before you pull a Will Smith and start hunting dear in Times Square, remember this: It was a movie. There are no rabid zombies at dusk and your dog is alive and healthy. You CAN go out at night, and there is at least one thing happening… And that one thing happens to be tonight. It’s the Drink at Work Show at Comix.

Here’s the hi-fi:

The Drink at Work Show, Featuring:

Lizz Winstead, Kurt Braunohler, Jamie Kilstein, Barry Rothbart, Brent Sullivan, Daniel St. Germaine AND a first look at scenes from Carol’s first feature length documentary on fellow Alabamian, Truman Capote.

Wednesday, September 3rd

@ 8pm

Comix at 353 W 14th St. New York, NY

Buy your tickets online now and save $5 off the door price: DAW tickets

So, wrap yourself in that warm winter blanket called comedy… You’ll feel good and alive, almost like you wrote a new second half of Will Smith’s I am Legend that makes sense.

All orders have left the building

Friday, December 5th, 2008

If you have ordered Escape from Barkeater Lake, original art, posters, the old Chamber Memberships (of which I just found a couple of very old orders for and have shipped out). Your order is in the mail.

We are still taking pre-orders for CHPMNK Militia and Return to Barkeater Lake. With a little help from my friends (cured pork and Maker’s Mark) those will be ready for printing sometime in early 2009.

We have, in stock, 40 Escape books left. Also, around 50 of the Escape: effed up edition, as well as around 20 or so of the two BL posters are with us, physically. We are still completely sold out of Welcome to Barkeater Lake, something we hope to remedy after the Holidays.

And remember: If you want something that’s in stock, please try and order by the 12th. That way you’ll have your order for Christmas!

Thanks to you all for your patience, your patience and your patience.

Cheers!

Corey
