As a proud Brooklynite, I would want to claim Bubby’s as our own (not just generic NYC). On the other hand, there may be an obscure branch of Bubby’s in Manhattan as well … but who keeps track of that zoo …
I just walked by Bubby’s on Saturday and it was an amazing mob of people - and that’s just on the street out front. Never, never underestimate the potential of pie.
