As a general rule, I don’t like to comment on story lines, but the comments and emails concerning the latest twist have forced my typing hand.

Folks, this is a comic about life in a small town, but I believe rural doesn’t equate to the insulation of hard times and major challenges. If anything, I think the lack of anonymity amplifies the fact that people die, people get sidelined and side tracked and sometimes they even move away. The story forms when we learn how the characters handle these things.

That said, this is a comic strip. COMIC STRIP… About line drawings living in a fake place on the Interweb. The angry emails threatening my skills as a writer/artist and accusing me of “ruining” things for YOU are borderline insane. If people allow a comic strip/TV show/movie staring fake characters to seriously impact their daily lives, then those people must seek professional help, immediately.

As far as this website goes, I am GOD. What I say goes, for better of for worse. Hey, next week, I may kill the dog. It all depends on what I feel like writing about.

I thank those of you who choose to stick around for the next twist/death/Satan sighting. For those who feel like this comic personally attacked you in some fashion, please throw yourselves down the stairs a few times. You clearly need some real drama and pain in your lives.
